Iced Coffee At Home Hack

Iced Coffee At Home Hack I love iced coffee. Way more then regular coffee. Even in the winter you may find me on a Sunday complaining to my husband under one of my many faux fur blankets about how cold I am as I sip on an iced coffee through a straw. What I don’t love is getting in my car or walking a mile to get it (these are the days I miss my bodega and Reggie, if you are reading this, I bet your supply of Ritter chocolate bars at 98th and Lex is getting dusty on the shelves since my departure). That bottle you see in the pic above I’m trying to effortlessly look cool is $1.99 from IKEA. What I love about it is that it is glass (see ya never BPA!), it’s slim so it can fit in even the door of my fridge and it has a lid that I cannot lose. It also looks pretty chic, no?When I am running low on coffee, I brew about 7 cups and pour it into the bottle to let rest over night and cool for the next day. I learned the hard way that a funnel is a must. I got mine at target. If you are into sugar, sorry, stevia in your coffee, I suggest funneling 1-2 tablespoons while the coffee is hot so it dissolves. And to all the cold brew elitists, my iced hot brew habit saves me about $20 a week. Also, I have never made it in time to actually try the cold brew which I hear is pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty good.
